James B. Driscoll, Managing Partner
Prior to co-founding Gateway Healthcare Professionals in 2012, James served as an Administrative Director for Bon Secours Virginia Health System where he was responsible for the executive management of the Human Resources department for St. Mary’s Hospital and led strategic planning initiatives for the ambulatory care business lines. The decade prior to that, James managed teams of human resources and information technology professionals for Philip Morris International and has over 18 years of experience in the fields of Human Resources, Information Systems and Corporate Governance. Since its inception in 2012, James has led business development and executive management for Gateway. James is active in his community, serving as Treasurer of the St. John’s Church Foundation; Board Member of St. Stephen’s Preschool, Mentor for the Anna Julia Cooper School post-graduate program, Secretary of Richmond Little League, and coach of multiple youth sports teams for his two sons. James holds a Business Administration degree from James Madison University.
J. Scott Fisher, Managing Partner
Scott has 20 years of experience in the fields of accounting and finance. Prior to starting Gateway Healthcare professionals in 2012, Scott was a consultant for numerous national and global companies, including 5 years in public accounting for Ernst & Young and Keiter, LLC providing audit, tax and advisory services for various corporations, trusts and partnerships. Scott’s client base included healthcare, construction and not-for-profit agencies. He joined Swedish Match North America and Vaco Richmond, where he served 10 years as a senior account executive. He has extensive experience in cash management, budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation and control and has led the accounting and operation functions for Gateway since its inception. Scott is a youth sports coach, a volunteer for the Alzheimer’s Association, active in Junior Achievement and the March of Dimes.
Danielle Smith, Director of Talent Acquisition and National Account Management
Danielle Smith brings over 15 years of professional experience in the realms of contracting, project management, account management, and talent acquisition management working in the financial, construction, education and healthcare sectors. Shortly after receiving her Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Danielle joined the Gateway team where she currently serves as Talent Acquisition and Account Manager. Engaging in all levels of management, Danielle works diligently to secure top talent for contract, direct hire and travel placement assignments, in the forms of executive leadership, clinicians, and administrative personnel. She works diligently to foster long-lasting relationships with her clients, and her customized, personal approach has a proven track record of recognition and success for program development, executive management, and full-cycle procurement of healthcare professionals. Danielle is an active member in her community and takes pride in volunteering and supporting local charitable organizations.
JaCqui Moore, Staffing Manager and Talent REcruiter
Jacqui has over 16 years of experience in Customer Service Management and Recruitment in the retail, customer service and Human Resources industries. Prior to joining Gateway Healthcare Professionals Jacqui served as an expert Hiring Manager for numerous companies. She served as the Hiring Manager for start-up companies such as Regis Corporation Retail Stores, and Eden Organics Salon and Spa. Currently she serves as Gateway’s Staffing Manager and Talent Recruiter. She is responsible for the successful on boarding of temporary contractors for our federal, local and travel customers. Her commitment to our clients and her candidates is her passion.
Leatha England, Director of Operations and Human Resources
As Gateway’s Director of Operations and Human Resources, Leatha brings 12 years of experience in Corporate Management, critical problem solving, communication, training and education, scheduling, and financial management. She supports the Gateway team with any needs that may arise and ensure effective, timely, and transparent communication. Leatha oversees all payroll and invoicing, benefits, and scheduling for our employees and clients. She finds passion in all of her jobs by taking care of people – her team, her clients, her guests, and her peers. Her work and life experience make her well qualified to serve our clients, and she will dedicate her time to providing her best possible care and high-level communication required to manage their evolving needs.
